Buy A Brick

The Plaza of the National Civil War Memorial will be made of bricks with the names of thousands of Civil War Veterans. By donating $100, you can have a relative memorialized on a brick that will be placed in the plaza and walkways of the Memorial. If you do not have a relative, you can Adopt A Veteran. Our volunteer historian will choose a veteran for you from the state that you designate.

You will receive a certificate showing the name of your veteran as it will appear on the brick. For an additional donation of $50, you will be sent a Companion Brick similar to your Veteran's Memorial Brick.

Mr. Casteel's National Civil War Memorial project presents corporations and individuals throughout America a marvelous opportunity to associate themselves with the event in our nation's history that changed the course of the country and produced the United States. In addition to becoming a part of the project that will ultimately become the hallmark of remembrance of those civilians and combatants in the Civil War, corporate sponsors will be able to advertise their corporate commitment in the education of America's youth.
